About Channel

ITV’s broadcasting business is made up of ITV1, the UK’s largest commercial TV channel in terms of audience share, and digital channels ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV.

Owned by ITV Plc, ITV’s content business also generates revenues by distributing ITV and third-party programming internationally, and through the sale of associated DVDs and merchandise.

ITV strive to provide event TV that appeals to a broad audience and is hugely talked about, from long running soaps, big game and talent shows, laugh out loud comedy to reality TV.

Programme Interests

What we are

The daytime schedule offers a wide range of lively, entertaining and engaging programming from 6am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Long-term hits such as Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Dickinson's Real Deal play alongside more recent formats such as Judge Rinder, Judge Rinder's Crime Stories and Tenable. Content range is vital from the lively debate and topical discussions of The Jeremy Kyle Show and Loose Women to formatted brands like James Martin's Adventures and the highly successful quizzes Tipping Point and The Chase.

Looking For

What we're looking for

We are mainly looking for shows that could play at 3pm though we'll always find a slot for an idea we love. No subjects are off-limits but they have to be shows you'd never want to miss. Great talent on and off-screen is vital and we have many of ITV's biggest stars in the daytime schedule.

Daytime ideas should have peaktime values, humour, originality and diversity. James Martin's French and American Adventures, Judge Rinder's Crime Stories and both Tipping Point and The Chase have peak versions of the shows. All afternoon daytime formats should be 60 minutes and need to strip across the week.

How to submit an idea

Paragraphs can be emailed to the team at A few pointers:

Please note we only accept submissions from production companies.
