Allison Page was named general manager of HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country in November 2013, where she oversees the programming and scheduling teams for these Scripps Networks Interactive Home Category lifestyle media brands.

Preceding her new role, Page previously served as senior vice president of programming and program development for Scripps’ Food Category brands, Food Network and Cooking Channel. In this role, she was a key player in strategizing and creating successful partnerships with Scripps’ Ad Sales Marketing, New Business and Digital teams. Page arrived to Food Network in 2001 as programming manager; her inventive contributions and dynamic leadership skills have been evident in a host of programming management positions. Her efforts were key to Food Network’s record-breaking, double-digit ratings growth in 2010 and 2011, and instrumental in the successful launch of Cooking Channel in 2010.

Prior to Food Network, Page was an associate producer at CBS News Sunday Morning.  She began at CBS with CBS News Productions.

Page has been involved over the years with Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and was an invitee to the WICT Leadership Conference in 2007 and 2008. She graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies.
