Elvia joined TLC in April 2014. Oliva is a creative executive who has built her career in television by starting as an assistant on the CBS series Rescue 911 and working her way up the ranks. Since early 2013, Oliva has served as Senior Vice President of Development for Fly On The Wall Entertainment. In this role, she was responsible for creating, developing, pitching and selling numerous docu-series, formats and social experiments. In her 15 months at FOTW, Oliva increased their development and programming slate to include pilots, presentations and series across several new networks including Food Network, Sundance, E!, Oxygen, History and TLC. Prior to working at FOTW, Oliva ran the development department at High Noon Entertainment, West Coast. As the Vice President of Programming and Development, she helped develop, sell and oversee several shows including TruTV's Guinness World Records Gone Wild and Discovery's Dude, You're Screwed! Throughout her career, Oliva has worked as a show runner, director, writer and producer for numerous specials and series for CBS, ABC, NBC, MTV, Animal Planet and others. Oliva graduated from UCLA with a BA in English and currently lives with her husband, two kids and golden-doodle, Chico.
