Programme Interests

Looking For

Generally speaking Syfy is looking to take swings on fresh concepts that feel like they haven’t been done before in the unscripted space.  We’re open to docuseries with big characters as the central figures in a family or workplace series, as well as competition, social experiments, extreme sports, and soft formats --- all that live and play in the broad Syfy arena.  What’s worked well for us in the past has been the creativity and imagination space, but we’re also wide open to exploring more in sci-fi pop culture, celebrity, comedy, magic, the speculative future, and broadly defined pop science and technology.  Pitches should embody passion, energy and something that sparks to a groundbreaking idea.
