Geoff Williams has been Head of Sport since 2008. Since then, he has helped deliver coverage of major events like the London and Rio Olympics, Glasgow Commonwealth Games, Euro 2016 and Rugby World Cup.

Each year, BBC Wales Sport produces more than 200 hours of TV, 1,000 hours of radio output and round-the-clock digital content.

Geoff was educated at Haverfordwest Grammar School. Before joining the BBC, he was a general reporter with the Western Telegraph and then the South Wales Echo.

At the BBC, his other roles have included Senior Producer of Wales Today, Editor of Meet for Lunch on Radio Wales, Editor of Radio Wales News and Managing Editor of Sport.
